Natania Carter manages CareerRise’s investments and is committed to exploring innovative strategies to expedite local workers’ journey to economic self-sufficiency. Prior to CareerRise, she was a 2018 National Urban Fellow with the Annie E. Casey Foundation-Atlanta Civic Site where she conducted research focused on economic opportunity. As a fellow, she earned her master’s in Public Administration from Baruch College. Natania began her career as a Senior Process Engineer in the pharmaceutical industry and holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Florida State University. The combination of her past experiences allows her to apply a systems-thinking approach to complexities in workforce development to help facilitate economic self-sufficiency.
